Ronald Behrens, 74, of Shattuc, passed away at Carlyle Healthcare Center on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, with his loving family by his side. Born on October 24, 1943 in Breese Illinois, he was the son of the late Rudolph Behrens and Flora (Noller) Behrens.


Mr. Behrens is survived by three children: son Ted Behrens and wife Stacey of Zionsville, IN; daughter Keira (Behrens) Eller and husband Josh of Shattuc; daughter Amanda (Behrens) Allen and husband Dennis of Centralia; grandsons Randly Pursley, Logan Pursley, Brian Behrens and Wyatt Eller; granddaughters Amelia Eller and Abby Allen; and Great-granddaughter, Adrian Pursley. Also left to mourn his passing are his sister Joan (Behrens) Wham and husband William of Cincinnati OH; brother Benjamin Behrens and wife Penny of Bartelso; and nieces and nephews.


Ron Behrens was preceded in death by both his parents, and an infant daughter, Cynthia Behrens.

Ron was the co-owner of Cycle City in Centralia, and he was a self-employed carpenter most of his life. He retired in Shattuc. He was a member of Keyesport Sporting Clay Club and served in the Illinois National Guard.
