Rose fondly remembered her younger years living in the country and being a “tom boy”. She was a lady where family always came first. She loved cooking and hosting family gatherings where everyone feasted on her amazing kidney bean salad, pies, cheesecake, and biscuits and gravy. Rose was an avid collector of angels, teapots, salt and pepper shakers, and owls. She would search for these treasures along with trendy new clothes at rummage sales in the area. Rose was a compassionate woman, helping any and all people that she could. Her home had an open invitation to all and was always full of company. Rose will be remembered as a loving NaNa to her grandchildren and will be missed deeply.

Celebration of life services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Day Macz Funeral Home in Sandoval with Brother Chuck Smith officiating.
