Memorial Service Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 2:00P.M. at his home in Centralia, IL

Randy Densmore, 66, of Centralia, IL passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at his home. He was born October 18, 1951 the son of Arthur Ray and Bettye (Berbaum) Densmore in Centralia, IL. He married the love of his life, Linda “Shady” Brady on May 12, 2007 at their home and she survives him.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda “Shady” Densmore of Centralia; brother, Rick Densmore and wife Elizabeth of Centralia; sister, Cindy Burge and husband Doug of Centralia; nephews, Shayne Densmore and wife Lora of Centralia, Tyler Burge of Centralia; loving mother-in-law, Shirley Brady of Centralia; four-legged companion Sheba; and many friends and family that will cherish his memory.

Preceded in death by both his parents, Arthur Ray and Bettye Densmore.

Randy proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He kept his patriotism strong by being a member of the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and the NRA. He was a gun enthusiast his favorite being his Colt 45 and commended his 2nd Amendment.

Randy could easily be found outdoors, he loved to hunt deer and turkeys. Some would say he was a cowboy, he always had horses and enjoyed camping, four wheeling, sailing, and spending time out at his cabin with friends. Randy and his wife, Linda “Shady” loved life and made many memories together. Randy was a 3rd generation Barber, that mostly loved his tradition of Friday night cocktail hour with his barber shop gang and bottles of Busch Light. He was known for being excellent at smoking meat that would make your mouth water just thinking of it. Randy will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 with Marc Wolenhaupt officiating at Randy and Linda’s home in Centralia. Military Rites will be accorded in his honor by the Centralia VFW Post 2055 and American Legion Post 446. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at their home. Private interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Randy’s honor to the Centralia Humane Society or the NRA. Arrangements are in the care of Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
