Betty Marie Pick, 94, of Centralia died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Centralia Manor in Centralia.

She was born November 20, 1923 in Marion County, Illinois, daughter of Orville J. And Ruby (Sanders) Bundy. She married John (Jack) Pick July 23, 1945 in Salem, Illinois, and he preceeded her in death September 6, 1979.

Mrs. Pick is survived by her Niece, Kim (Phillips) Randolph and husband, Greg of Centralia; Great Nephews, Jason Todd Randolph and wife Sandra of London, Kentucky; John Gregory Randolph and wife Vanessa of Salem; Great Great Nephews, Gregory Randolph of London, Kentucky, Brandon Randolph of Richmond, Kentucky.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Audrey Bundy, June Riechman, Norma Turner; Sister-In-Law, Dorothy Pick.

Mrs. Pick was a member of First Christian Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and VFW Auxiliary since 1946. She attended Copple School and graduated from Centralia Township High School, Class of 1941. After High School, she worked at Woolworths, playing records for the many Soldiers who got o? buses and trains in downtown Centralia during WWII. She then worked at Mary Faye Shop from the day it opened, August 12, 1944, till it closed in the late 70’s. Mrs. Pick had a special talent for decorating the windows in the shop and she modeled many runways. She then worked at Jean’s Uniforms. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling around the World. She also enjoyed creating beautiful ?oral arrangements. Mrs. Pick loved spending time with her family and was famous for her baked beans and strawberry pie. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be a private graveside service.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Centralia and will be accepted at the funeral home.
