Larry E. Wagner, 72, of Irvington, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at home. He was born on June 14, 1946 the son of Melvin and Wilma (Sanders) Wagner in Centralia. He married Lois Havener on October 6, 1972 in Salem.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Lois Wagner of Irvington; his caring sister, Ruth Ann Holthaus; kind brother-in-law, David Havener of NV; and special aunt and uncle, Paul and Ellen Thomason of Iuka.

Mr. Wagner was preceded in death by both his parents; his sister, Diane Wagner, and his brother, Melvin Wagner.

Mr. Wagner proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and transferred to the Naval Reserve. He diligently worked 31 years as a laborer on the street department for the City of Centralia until his retirement in 2002. Larry was a member of Fouts Christian Church and the VFW Post #2055 in Centralia.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 P.M. Sunday, August 12, 2018 with Pastor Jerry Wilson officiating at Fouts Cemetery in Centralia. Memorials may be made in Larry’s honor to the Donor’s Choice or Fouts Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
