Dale Boozer, 58, of Odin formerly of Central City passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He was born on February 22, 1960 the son of Joseph and Glenna (Sharp) Boozer in Mt. Vernon, IL. He married Chrissy Halterman on February 14, 2015 in Central City.

Dale was devoted to his surviving wife, Chrissy Boozer of Odin; loving children, Brittany Nicole and husband Austin of Centralia, and Skylar Neil of Carbondale; step-sons; Nathan of Oregon, and Austin of Salem; precious grandchildren, Natalee, and Adon; caring uncles, Willie Norman Sharp and wife Geraldine of Alton, and Jim Lavin of Kell; caring aunts, Judy Easton of Dix, and Dee Boozer of Alaska; and special family nurse practitioner, Denise Orrill.

Mr. Boozer was preceded in death by both his parents, Joseph and Glenna Boozer; and his sister, Tanga Boozer.

Dale was a dedicated worker for S & L Produce and Ace Hardware. He was known as a caring family man, generously giving his time as a loving caregiver to both his parents and his sister. His favorite manner of spending time was making memories with his family. Dale will be remembered as a kind and supportive husband, father, grandfather, nephew and friend.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the First General Baptist Church in Centralia with Pastor Craig Smith officiating. A visitation time will be from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in Dale’s honor to the Irvin Macz Funeral Home to aid the family with expenses.
