Lettle Rose Benjamin, 70, of Centralia, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. She was born on October 2, 1947 the daughter of Harold and Fern (Kretzer) Groff in Odin.

Survivors include her devoted children, Gary L. Benjamin, wife Debra of Centralia, and Malissa J. Benjamin of Centralia; precious grandchildren, Makylia Flanagan, Joshua Jacob Benjamin, and Makylie Rose Marie Benjamin; great-grandchildren Jacob Tayler Bennett and Lana Rose Benjamin; brother, David Groff and wife Janice of Bourbonnais; and sister, Ople Schmitz of Centralia; and sister in law Debbie Nichols, husband John of Centralia.

Lettle was preceded in death by both her parents; husband; sister, Monzella Groff Dehn; and brother, Ray Wesley Groff, Jr.

Lettle was a member of the First Church of God. She enjoyed the challenge of putting together puzzles and watching her favorite television shows Matlock, Murder She Wrote, Mountain Men and Out Daughters.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2018 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Giffin officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the noon service on Monday. Memorials may be made in Lettle’s honor to the family wishes.
