Kenneth “Kenny” Jackson Jr., 66, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Fireside House of Centralia. He was born on November 4, 1951 the son of Kenneth Sr. and Donna (Soper) Jackson. He married Kathryn Dehning and three children were born of this union. They later divorced. He then married Rebecca Potter and one child was born of this union. They later divorced. In 1992, he married Cindy Cox and she preceded him in death in 2009.

Survivors include his beloved mother Donna Jackson; loving children, Tiffany Miner, husband Ryan of Waldport, OR; Rick Jackson, wife Pam of Lakeland, FL; Beth Scharp of Centralia; Cori Storm, husband Rich of Peoria, IL; and Kathy Liberty, husband Nick of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren Kimber Miner, RJ Miner, Hannah Jackson, Hailey Jackson, Kati Jackson, Cayden Storm, and Logan Storm; nieces and nephews Sara Beth Little and John Michael Little; sister Gayla Little, husband Michael of Michigan City, IN; many extended family members, and friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Jackson, Sr.; first wife Kathryn Wimer and third wife Cindy Jackson; and son Keith Jackson.

Kenny was a proud Air Force Veteran having served his country during the Vietnam War. After his years of service, he was the owner of Jackson Heating and Cooling. Kenny had many hobbies, but will be remembered for his talents on the greens with the Greenview Golf League, catching bass fish on the lake, knocking pins down at the bowling alley, winning a game of pool, or playing a game of poker. He will forever be remembered as a loving grandfather to those who call him “Grandpa Cardinal!”

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 22, 2018 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia with Scott Estes officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with military rites by the Centralia American Legion Post 446 and Centralia VFW Post 2055. Friends and relatives are invited to visiting hours from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Kenny’s honor to the Centralia Humane Society.
