Ann Eva Nattier, 84 of Cicero, Indiana was called home on October 24, 2018, surrounded by her family and her very special companion Buell Haven Dillon. She was born August 27, 1934 to the late James Irvin and Mae Malinda (Smith) Robinson of Medina, Tennessee. Ann was raised in Tennessee by two loving parents and four siblings, 3 older sisters and one younger brother. Ann attended Business College in Nashville, TN, it was there that she met her first great love Staff Sgt. Robert (Bob) E. Nattier. Ann and Bob were married on September 17, 1954 in Nashville, TN and later moved to Patoka, IL in 1960 to raise their family of four. While residing in Patoka, Ann worked at the Marion County Sherriff’s Office and made many lifelong friends. Ann and Bob moved to Indiana in 1978. Ann went on to work in the healthcare field up until the time of her retirement. Ann and Bob were married for over 42 years when Bob passed away at the young age of 62.

Ann was blessed with not one but two great loves in her lifetime. In 2002 she met Buell Haven Dillon, Buell to some but Haven to Ann. Ann and Haven spent 16 years together and enjoyed every minute of their “party.” Ann and Haven traveled frequently to visit her children, grandchildren, to Florida, out West and even a couple of cruises.

Ann was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family. Ann had a love for sports and enjoyed watching football and basketball and occasionally could be heard coaching the team from the comfort of her living room. Ann also had a love for fashion and all things beauty, she was always on the lookout for the next beauty trend. And let’s not forget the frogs…all of the frogs, she was an avid collector.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents James & Mae Robinson, In-Laws John and Ruth Nattier, husband Bob Nattier, son John Daniel “Boone” Nattier, sister Laverne (Glen) Parrish, sister Beatrice (Bill) Slaughter, brother James Robinson, and brother-in-law D.H. Jenkins.
