Elizabeth “Betsy” (Braddy) Foutch, 65, of Centralia, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the home of her brother, John and Cheryl Braddy with her brother by her side. She was born on June 5, 1953 the daughter of Melvin and Ruby (Robinett) Braddy in Centralia. She married Richard Foutch on September 15, 1971 in Centralia and they celebrated 41 years of marriage together before he preceded her in death on March 31, 2012.

Survivors include her beloved children, Michael “Chubby” Foutch, Jeffery “Pork” Foutch, Richard “Ace” Foutch Jr., Larry Foutch, and Tina Foutch; precious grandchildren, Michael, Dylan, Nicholas, Tiffany, Jacob, Colten, and Travis; and 1 cherished great-granddaughter; devoted siblings, John Braddy and wife Cheryl, Charlotte Burns, and husband Luke, Nancy Crenshaw and husband Gussy, Karen Page, Julie Tippit and husband Wade, Cheryl Dagg.

Betsy was preceded in death by both her parents, Melvin and Ruby Braddy; brother, Richard Friend; sister, Kaye Hawkey; three nieces, Amind Minor, Edra “Rab” Minor, and Dedra Hawkey; and a great niece Carly Flanigan.

Betsy worked as a CNA at Fireside House in Centralia where she showered the residents with love and compassion. She will always be remembered for her big heart and her sass. Betsy was a lady that loved the outdoors, and could be found gardening, bird watching, enjoying the beauty of her flowers, and listening to wind chimes. She had a special, furry friend, a dog Daisy. Betsy was of the Christian faith and was an example of love to all she knew. She was an extremely devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan, always cheering on their next big win. Family and friends will think of her fondly while enjoying a chocolate ice cream or listening to country music as Betsy had a passion for both.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Irvin Macz Funeral Home with Chaplain Joannie Naraghi officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 A.M. till time of service at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
