Reva Marie Riley, 102, of Patoka, passed away January 19, 2019 in Benton, surrounded by her family. She was born August 12, 1916 the daughter of George and Xenia (Fox) Crothers. She married the love of her life Herbert (Pete) Wayne Riley on October 17, 1937. He preceded her in death on July 23, 1970.

Survivors include her loving daughter Debra Kay (Riley) Ketteman, husband Francis; devoted daughter-in-law Mary Riley; cherished grandchildren Jerry Riley, Melchelle Wagner, Kevin Riley, Tim Riley, wife Shari, Teresa Cain, husband Dale, Edward Riley, Jr., and Kate Baker, Karyl Riley, David Riley, Heather Fitzjerrells, husband Brett, Alana England, Alicia Rath, husband Tom, and Gavin Bassett; 18 caring great-grandchildren Brianne Baker, Lincy Baker, Chainie Riley, Gabrielle Riley, Kate Riley, Kayla (Cain) Voss, Zac Cain, wife Allison, Macie Cain, Nina Elslager, Alex Elslager, Joshua Riley, Nathaniel Riley, Braden Fitzjerrells, Raeghan Fitzjerrells, Gunner England, Carleigh Madden, Greyson Rath, Madden Thompson; 9 precious great-great-grandchildren, Lyndsi Baker, Kalub Rowley, Blake Donaldson, Darrin Nelson, Mike Nelson, Ariana Nelson, Hudson Voss, Hayden Voss, Layton Cain.

In addition to her husband, Reva was preceded in death by both of her parents; children, Ava Marie Riley, Edward Ray Riley Sr., Howard Wayne Riley; sisters Fern and Violet Crothers, and brother Homer Crothers.

Reva was a lifelong resident of the Patoka and Vernon area where she was a devoted member of the Patoka Christian Church. She especially loved to attend the sporting events of her children and grandchildren. Over the years she enjoyed traveling throughout the area dancing with her friends and family. Reva treasured her time being an active member of the Royal Neighbors. Her loved ones hold dear to the keepsakes that she would crochet for them.

Celebration of life services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at First Christian Church in Patoka. Friends and relatives are invited to visiting hours from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at First Christian Church in Patoka on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
