Janis was greeted at the Pearly Gates with open arms by both her parents, Richard and Sue Lambert; beloved son, James Carl Reed; and her grandson who was her sunshine, Cole James Duffell.

Family was everything to Janis, and she leaves her legacy with her loving daughter, Melissa Duffell and husband Joseph; cherished grandchildren, Kayli Jo and Kaytlin Janae; her devoted sister, Cherry Derrick and husband Jim; and their four sons; Tony, Tim, Michael, and Seth; her love, companion and special friend for over 20 years Larry Allen Hunt; and his family.

She raised a family while working for Dr. Wayne Terry, Salem Gravure World Color Press, Teamsters Local 50, and Hollywood Candy Factory. In retirement she enjoyed going to lunch with friends, shopping, and especially being with her daughter, son-in-law and her grandchildren who brought her happiness and love throughout the years. She loved to travel, go to dinner and her weekends together with Larry.
