Cathy Diane Green, 67, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Centralia Manor. She was born the daughter of Loren and Opal (Sharp) Ellis on April 7, 1951 in Flora. She married Dennis Green on June 30, 1979 in Kell. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving sister Paula Ross, husband Eddie of Centralia; nephews Chad Ross, wife Stacy and Ryan Ross, wife Becki; step children Steven Green, wife Terrie Green of Georgia, Carol Collins of Georgia, and Doug Green, wife Amy of Kell; many grandchildren; and In-laws Walter Green, wife Pat of Texico, Jon Green, wife Fern of Harmony, Carolyn Green of Kell, and Kathy Schwegler of Tennessee.

In addition to her husband, Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Loren and Opal Ellis.

Cathy was a compassionate and caring person who cared for the residents at Warren G. Murray Center as a mental health tech. She was a devoted Christian and faithful member of Mt. Moriah Christian Church. Her favorite past time was sharing stories and going for long car rides to enjoy God’s creation. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister and aunt.

Service of remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia. Pastor Craig Smith and Pastor Ron Periman will be officiating with burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Centralia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Moriah Cemetery Fund or St. Jude’s Children Foundation. Friends and relatives are invited to visiting hours from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at the funeral home.
