Edith F. Oestreich, 89, of Centralia passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Odin Health Care Center. She was born on December 8, 1930 the daughter of Edward and Paula (Lehman) Sprehe in Hoffman. She married Jerome Oestreich on February 19, 1949 in Centralia and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2007.

Survivors include her devoted children, son, Jerry Oestreich, (Rebecca Marshall) of Benton, and daughter, Paula Becker, (Tom) of Centralia; cherished grandson, Bruce Becker, (LaNae); and sisters, Rowena “Winnie” Miller, Lela Trumbo.

Along with her husband of 58 years, Jerome Oestreich, Mrs. Oestreich was preceded in death by both her parents; brother, Ed Sprehe; sister, Barbara Thompson; and great-grandchild, Mari Lee Becker.

Mrs. Oestreich was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia. She was proud to serve as a member of the American Legion Post 446 Auxillary, and VFW Post 2055 Auxillary, both in Centralia. Edith was a loyal employee of Kas Potato Chip Company in Centralia, where she worked her way up to supervisor until her retirement in 1989. Edith has left behind many beautiful memories that will be treasured by those she knew and loved.

Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia is privileged to be assisting the family of Edith Oestreich with arrangements. A celebration of life service will be held by the family.
